Job Description - QA Automation Lead

Role: QA Automation Lead

Location : Gurgaon

Relevant Experience: 8+ years

Educational Qualification: B Tech (preference for CSE/IT)

Specific must-have skills for this role:

Hands-on automation and manual testing

Experience in leading a team of at least 5 SDETS/automation engineers

Excellent command of API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, RestAssured

Good knowledge of UI automation using Selenium or equivalent

Strong programming skills in Java or equivalent

Experience in any scripting languages like Python/Perl/Shell/PowerShell

Should have used JUnit or TestNG

Experience in automation framework creation data driven, keyword driven and hybrid

Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.

Good at debugging web applications and databases.

Should have worked in Agile environments

Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Exposure to SAS application testing

Good-to-have skills for this role:

Experience in testing mobile apps and mobile test automation using Appium or equivalent

Working knowledge of JavaScript and Protractor will be a definite advantage

Exposure to Performance and security testing

Experience with Browser level debugging , browser internals, browser memory management

Experience in CI-CD/Dev-Ops implementations and Tools

Experience in BDD/TDD techniques and tools
