Job Description
- We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist/Consultant to lead and support our organizations data management initiatives.
- The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining MDM solutions to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of critical business data across multiple systems.
- In addition, the candidate will actively participate in pre-sales activities, including client engagements, solution demonstrations, and proposal creation.
- The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data governance, streamline business processes, and enable data-driven decision-making. Requirements
- Develop and implement MDM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality master data.
- Manage and maintain master data across domains such as customer, supplier, product, and finance.
- Design and implement MDM solutions, including data models, workflows, and integration processes, using tools like Informatics MDM, SAP MDG, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data needs, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Define and enforce data governance practices, including standardization, validation, and deduplication processes.
- Monitor and analyze data quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Integrate MDM solutions with other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, BI platforms) to ensure seamless data flow.
- Provide training and support to end-users on MDM tools, policies, and best practices.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to data management and governance.
Pre-Sales Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and business challenges related to master data.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations of MDM solutions to prospective clients.
- Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes to showcase MDM capabilities and address client-specific needs.
- Assist in creating technical and functional proposals, and detailed project plans.
- Provide estimates for MDM solution implementation, including resource planning and timelines.
- Act as a subject matter expert during client meetings, addressing queries about MDM tools, architecture, and implementation strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and business challenges related to master data.
- Develop and implement MDM strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure high-quality master data.
