Job Description
At FalconX, you'll help make crypto assets a successful asset class. Some of the largest financial institutions from Wall Street to Silicon Valley and around the world will turn to you for the best market prices and insights on the crypto industry. You will become the expert on crypto industry trends and market movements. With your experience, you will shape our company s trading strategies according to our core values - speed, transparency and trust.
What you'll be working on:
- Help your engineers grow their skills and experience
- Improve product quality, security, and performance
- Run agile project management processes
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members on technical contributions, product architecture, and other areas
- Actively seek and hire globally-distributed talent
- Conduct managerial interviews for candidates, and train the team to do technical interviews
- Generate and implement process improvements
- Hold regular 1:1s with all members of their team
- Foster technical decision making on the team, but make final decisions when necessary
- Draft quarterly OKRs and Engineering KPIs
Requirements
- Exquisite brokering skills: regularly achieve consensus amongst departments
- 9+years of overall experience is a must
- 3+ years of experience into leadership role with current technical experience
- Ability to code and In-depth technical experience in Python and/or Golang
- Ability to do code reviews and manage technical expectations cross functionally
- Familiarity with other functional areas of your team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
