Senior System Administrator @ Sigma Infosolutions

Job Description

• Ensure the availability and optimal functioning of computing resources, hardware, and software for the entire organization
• Maintain and manage the organization s IT infrastructure, including computer networks and servers
• Provide effective solutions for user queries and requirements within specified timelines
• Manage servers, firewalls, networks, backups, and other essential computing resources
• Ensure robust data security and confidentiality management
• Maintain hardware (servers, firewalls, networking devices) and manage hardware/software inventory
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency
• Reduce asset wastage and improve internal efficiencies
• Participate in IT department budgeting exercises
• Prepare and maintain reports in compliance with ISO:27001 requirements
• Provide daily status reports to supervisors/managers
• Represent the organization during ISO audits
• Required Skills:Proficiency in network and server installation and management
• Competency in Linux system management
• Expertise in Windows system management and administration
• Experience in hardware and software installation and management
• Strong client and vendor communication and follow-up skills
• Firewall management capabilities
• Proficiency in Gusite, O365 management
• Experience with ISMS/ISO 27001 audits
• Knowledge of Hyper-V
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on automation solutions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
