We are looking for someone who is well-versed withthe ServiceNow platform which supports IT service management to automatebusiness processes. As a Technical Architect - ServiceNow, you will bedesigning, configuring, developing, troubleshooting, and implementing baselineand custom applications to enhance the platform. You will also manage the platformto ensure stability and implement architectural changes when necessary.
You are all set to:
Envision and develop intuitive solutions on theServiceNow platform to meet client needs. Help in shaping the future of theorganization by leveraging creative ideas and utilizing the many benefits ofServiceNow as a key enabling platform in our organization. Executeday-to-day product development activities across design, development,stakeholder communication, technology vendor management, and delivery.
You are someone who can:
Lead the architecture and design of engagementsimplementing ServiceNow and integrating applications by requirement gathering,problem resolution, and providing recommendations to customers.
Lead the development team to provide enhancementsand customization in support of customer needs utilizing JavaScript, CSS, HTML,and other web-based scripting tools and methodologies.
Work to the overall objectives agreed with the ITservices managers.
Implement ITS Configuration Management policy andstandards while working with application support to ensure that anyintegrations added into ServiceNow align with best practices for the platform.
Provide leadership and expert knowledge ofServiceNow application architecture to business and technology teams andfacilitate the collaborative development of the technology strategy, technologystandards, roadmaps, and practices.
Manage clients, complex projects, drive businessrequirement gathering, manage scope and client expectations.
Create and maintain design specifications,architectural diagrams, and process diagrams supporting and communicatingchanges to ServiceNow platform applications.
Perform upgrades and customizations of ServiceNowplatform applications while adhering to source code, configuration management,release management and software development best practices.
Perform workflow design, configuration,development, and data loads for ServiceNow platform, (ServiceNow) applications.
Responsible for programming workflow, enhancements,and integrations with ServiceNow platform applications.
Creating project and application architecturedeliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards,methodologies, and best practices.
Providing support / guidance to the developmentteams during the analysis, development, and testing processes.
Provide inputs to create Agile user stories basedon business requirements.
Participate in E2E functionality assessment duringValidation Testing phases (SIT, UAT)
Experience with technical programming; capable ofmanaging and overseeing global teams designing, programming and implementingvarious technical solutions.
Work with Level 1 support teams to deploy andmaintain applications.
Responsible for proactive problem and riskmanagement on the platform. Guide team in troubleshooting issues found onServiceNow platform, applications, and workflows.
Experience in designing, building, and maintainingServiceNow integrations via REST API.
Ability to develop and configure applications usingServiceNow, and JavaScript technology; Build Workflows and write automatedscripts.
Develop, configure and implement changes inServiceNow including, but not limited to: core setup, workflow administration,reporting, data imports, custom scripting, and third-party softwareintegrations.
Perform advanced customizations including BusinessRules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts,workflows, custom tables, reports etc.
You bring in :
A bachelor s degree in computer science, or relateddiscipline. While an advanced degree is preferred, the value is placed on theextent of the relevant experience and accomplishments.
6+ years Industry experience, in developing andarchitecture of software platforms, products.
Prior experience in leading architecture activitieslike designing, roadmap, proof-of-concepts on COTS platforms or LowCode/No Code platforms.
At least 4 years of experience on ServiceNowplatform in modules like ITSM, HRSD, APM, PPM, GRC or ITAM and designingsolutions within these modules.
Ability to manage multiple customers, complexprojects, and multiple initiatives at the same time.
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Ability to travel 1-10%, on average, based on the workyou do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
We Prefer:
Exposure to ETL Tools that transfer data fromServiceNow - like Perspectium or SnowMirror.
Knowledge on Integration Hub, Flow Designer, UIFramework and UI Builder is a plus.
Experience with NOW intelligence.
Experience with Web Development (HTML, CSS,JavaScript).
Exposure to Service Portal.
Exposure to capabilities in ServiceNow Quebecversion.
Experience working with SAFe, Scrum or Agiledevelopment processes.
Must have clear communications skills both oral andwritten with ability to negotiate in a non-confrontational manner to deliver aclear, well-structured, and concise argument supporting a perspective, usingfacts, pros/cons, business justifications and other persuasion methods.
Must be able to work independently in a fast-pacedenvironment, balance priorities and juggle multiple tasks at once.
Must possess a strong desire and clearunderstanding for high customer satisfaction.
Must be flexible, have good energy, easy to workwith and a team player.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation, influencing,and reasoning skills to earn support of business leaders, technology leaders,colleagues, and vendor representatives.
Creativity and ability to think outside-the-boxwhile defining sound and practical solutions.
Education Experience
B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A/MSc (preferably in ComputerScience/IT)
