Job Description
What is the work?
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, taxation, and auditing.
- Lead and supervise the accounts team to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely financial reporting.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Provide guidance on tax compliance, internal controls, and financial management policies.
- Ensure all accounting processes comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, offering strategic recommendations to senior management for cost reduction and process improvements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other third-party agencies.
- Participate in business planning and financial forecasting to support strategic goals.
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies to optimize business performance.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent credentials preferred.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in handling complex accounting functions and systems.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on driving results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex financial challenges.
