- Meet sales targets as decided and agreed with reportingmanager.
- Conduct client presentations, productdemonstrations, training and discussions to showcase GIS capabilities.
- Prepare and present proposals and quotes for GISproducts and services.
- Create and track opportunities, build a healthypipeline of opportunities.
- Schedule, drive & manage client meetings &presentations on his own and live product demos through presales or technicalteams.
- Work closely with influencers from client organizationsto get the RFP/ Tender/ RFQ published as required.
- Collaborate with management to arrive at winningcommercials to participate in RFP/ tender or submit proposals.
- Drive the bidding process with help from Presalesteam.
- Identify and liaison with technology, business &OEM partners based on opportunity.
- Keep track of competition activities and pricingstrategies.
- Coordinate withmarketing, pre-sales and account management team, as and when required.
Skill Sets:
Good communication in Local Language (Gujarati)& English. Must know both languages fluently.
Good interpersonal skills: should understand how tocommunicate and interact with officials at different levels in the govt.offices.
Excellent communication skills to convey thetechnical features and benefits of GIS products to a non-technical audience.
Sales skills, including the ability to identify andqualify leads, build relationships, and close deals.
Knowledge of industries where GIS is commonlyapplied, such as urban planning, mining, environmental management, utilities,agriculture, etc.
Stay informed about GIS competitors and markettrends to effectively position the products.
Ability to address technical queries and solveproblems related to GIS solutions during the sales process.
Strong presentation skills to communicate complexGIS concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Understand the unique requirements of clients andtailor GIS solutions to meet their specific needs.
An understanding of project management principles,especially as they relate to the implementation of GIS solutions.
Ability to collaborate with internal teams,including technical support, development, and implementation teams.
Skill in negotiating terms and contracts related toGIS product sales.
Clearly articulate the value proposition of GISsolutions and negotiate win-win scenarios.
Stay updated on the latest GIS technologies,industry trends, and advancements to provide informed recommendations.
Work closely with technical teams to ensure a smoothtransition from sales to implementation.
Must be a strong follow-up person.
Should have track record of closing multi-crorevalue deals from Govt. clients.
