We are looking for a seasoned and passionate Tech Lead - Data Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience in building scalable, enterprise-grade data solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in modern data platforms, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record in guiding teams through successful data engineering initiatives.
In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced data use cases on Palantir Foundry, while also contributing to broader data integration efforts using Snowflake and Informatica. You'll help drive engineering excellence, align technical strategy with business goals, and mentor a high-performing development team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of scalable data solutions using Palantir Foundry.
- Provide cross-functional support and hands-on implementation with Snowflake and Informatica as needed.
- Ensure adherence to best practices for performance tuning, security, and data governance across all data products.
- Build innovative, high-impact big data solutions within a collaborative and culture-focused team.
- Serve as a technical mentor and hands-on leader for the development team, providing guidance through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Partner with Product Owners and Designers to assess technical feasibility, guide feature development, and contribute domain expertise.
- Identify, define, and resolve non-functional requirements such as scalability, maintainability, and system resilience.
- Debug and optimize complex data pipelines and applications to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Clearly articulate architectural decisions and solution approaches to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Foster a positive, high-performing team environment focused on engineering quality and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with external teams, especially in security and infrastructure, to deliver robust and compliant data solutions.
- Stay current with Palantir Foundry product features and evolving best practices to continuously enhance team capabilities.
- Lead adoption of modern data modeling techniques, and advocate for hybrid architectures that integrate event-driven and batch processing to support agile development and evolving business needs.
- Drive agile development practices to ensure quick iterations, rapid feedback loops, and continuous delivery.
- Champion a data-driven culture by deploying cutting-edge tools to solve complex, real-world business problems.
- Advocate for modern data modeling and data pipeline design techniques to support both event-driven and batch processing architectures.
