Job Overview:
Resolve Tech Solutions is building a cutting-edge observability platform that leverages AI/ML for anomaly detection, time series forecasting, and intelligent alerting. We are seeking a Lead Machine Learning Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing and deploying ML models, specializing in anomaly detection, time series forecasting, and large language models (LLMs). This role requires a blend of leadership and hands-on expertise, as you will drive technical decisions while also mentoring a team of ML engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Learning Development & Deployment:
- Architect, develop, and deploy ML models for anomaly detection, time series forecasting, and predictive analytics.
- Design real-time metric monitoring and alerting systems that integrate with cloud-based observability platforms.
- Utilize LLMs and GenAI to provide intelligent recommendations based on past incident reports and ticket management systems like ServiceNow.
- Develop and fine-tune forecasting models to predict metric threshold violations, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers while also functioning as an individual contributor.
- Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate ML solutions into the observability platform.
- Define best practices for ML model lifecycle management, versioning, and monitoring in production.
Cloud & MLOps Integration:
- Deploy and scale ML models on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
- Optimize model inference for real-time and batch processing.
Innovation & Research:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and LLMs.
- Evaluate and integrate state-of-the-art ML models and frameworks (e.g., DeepAR, Prophet, Transformer-based models).
- Explore GenAI capabilities for summarizing and analyzing anomaly trends.
Requirements:
Experience & Technical Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, and data science.
- Strong expertise in anomaly detection, time series forecasting, and predictive modeling.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs (GPT, BERT, Qwen, DeepSeek, etc.) and GenAI applications.
- Solid programming skills in Python with experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, Statsmodels.
- Proficiency in big data frameworks like Spark, Dask, or Ray.
- Experience deploying ML models using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based ML services (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI).
- Familiarity with real-time data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Flink, or Apache Beam.
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Ability to work both as an individual contributor and a team leader.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related fields.
- Experience in observability platforms, monitoring tools, or AIOps solutions.
- Experience with GenAI-powered automation for IT operations.
- Prior work in developing or integrating ML solutions with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning or causal inference for predictive analytics.
