Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BODS Data Engineer with a strong background in ETL development and Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) and a solid understanding of data integration and warehousing principles. This role involves designing and developing scalable ETL solutions to support our data-driven initiatives.

• Design, develop, and implement robust ETL solutions using SAP BODS.

• Build and maintain data integration workflows that ensure high performance and scalability.

• Develop SAP BODS jobs, data flows, and scripts to support complex business requirements.

• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various structured and unstructured sources.

• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and deliver optimal solutions.

• Monitor, debug, and tune ETL jobs for performance and reliability.

• Document technical solutions, processes, and workflows clearly and concisely.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across all ETL pipelines.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BODS ETL development.

• Strong proficiency in SAP BODS job design, data flow creation, scripting, and debugging.

• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data integration techniques, and data warehousing principles.

• Proven experience working with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.

• Strong SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and transformation.

• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, SAP HANA).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across technical and business teams.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with SAP HANA, SAP BW, or related tools.

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
