Storage Types (SAN, NAS, Block, Unstructured)
Design, develop, and implement archiving solutions ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and compliance with industry standards.
Analyze complex IT environments and implement tailored solutions for performance and scalability.
Support systems across data storage, disaster recovery, and analytics functions.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand data management needs and ensure satisfaction.
Automate internal processes through scripting and tooling to improve operational efficiency.
Uphold high security standards via implementation of new tools and processes.
Respond to incidents with urgency, maintaining communication and service restoration.
Work cross-functionally with IT and business teams, contributing to shared success.
Maintain clear, consistent documentation and adhere to standards and protocols.
Be adaptable to work independently on global projects, occasionally requiring flexible hours.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on technical experience in a professional IT environment.
Strong understanding of backup/disaster recovery systems, data retention, and managing large datasets.
Experience with object and cloud object storage, as well as tape media.
Expertise in designing and implementing Linux, AWS, Terraform, and Ansible environments.
Proficient in scripting (Python, Shell, or equivalent).
Familiarity with storage types (SAN, NAS, Block, Unstructured) and matching them to workloads.
Proven vendor management experience: aligning product features to needs and cost to budgets.
Experience setting up and managing host/service monitoring tools.
Understanding of DNS, high-speed networking (25/40/100GbE), and system configuration.
Strong process improvement mindset with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
Effective multitasking and time management with attention to detail.
Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies, with adaptability and resilience under pressure.
