Job Description
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Manage the complete project lifecycle from award to completion, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Forecast project budgets and human resource needs to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
- Implementation and Execution:
- Lead the implementation of electrical systems and controls, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
- Interpret construction drawings and contract documents to guide project execution.
- Provide technical support to electrical workgroups on-site, ensuring effective coordination with mechanical and civil teams.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams regarding project status and any issues that arise.
- Prepare and process billing and service-related documentation accurately and promptly.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Manage local purchases and address payment-related issues efficiently.
- Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all electrical installations meet quality standards and comply with relevant codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgears.
- Address any non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
- Promote a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project execution, in Oil& gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, and construction.
