Job Description

- Job Description:Handle the daily Cloud & on-prem Operations of GoldenSource clients in relation to the cloud infrastructure
- This position is involved in development of processes to manage operations, assist in developing technical standards, architecture and employee development
- The ideal individual will apply proven communication, automation, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments
- The role will collaborate with production, implementation, performance team, vendor/service providers and clients to support an operational environment for new and existing services supported by infrastructure team
- Primary Roles and Responsibilities:- Overall involvement for the day-to-day operations of managing Cloud Services including system setup, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, service desk, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery, software deployment and upgrades and routine update of services
- - Ensure timely liaison with requestor, vendors for patching, fixes, enhancements, and resolving problems- Ensures/promotes Security guidelines accomplishment- Work on creating, running and maintaining the application support platform, including alert standardization- Perform mission critical activities like disaster recovery, audits/review, incident reviews, etc
- - Follow-up and coordinate with various internal teams and customers- Ensuring the daily status and follow-up w
- - Keeping up-to-date with cloud computing best practices and enhancing their companys or organisations cloud infrastructure
- Required Technical Knowledge / Skills:- Cloud methodologies Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) - architecture, maintenance, and automation of auto-scaling Proficient in managing AWS services and understanding of in SaaS, PaaS, Agile, AWS services Possessing good knowledge & experience of AWS S3, EKS, VPC, EC2, RDS, Route 53, IAM, and server architecture
- (Mandatory) Should be proficient in setting up VPN, AWS Network (VPC, Subnets), backup and disaster recovery, SQS, SES, EKS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail Ideally knowledge in Cloudwatch, CloudTrail, SQS, SNS, Kafka, Lambda Ideally Any scripting language with demonstrable proficiency in one or more languages: ideally Python or (shell, bash, Java
- Powershell, NodeJS )- Unix/Linux platform Advance level of understanding and troubleshooting skills including file/disk/process/network management- Oracle, PostgreSQL Hands-on experience in interpreting and writing SQL queries Good understanding of performance issues related points eg
- query optimization / execution plan / AWR / ASH reports- Strong problem-solving, analytical, logical skills and a strong team player- Interpersonal Skills Strong Organizational and Communication skills Collaborate with cross-functional teams & Customer to understand requirements and translate them into solutions Ideally few individuals management / mentoringEducation / Certification / Experience:- Bachelor Degree in computers is preferred, from a recognized university- AWS Cloud practitioner (or other Public cloud equivalent) (Mandatory)- Additional AWS certification such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (Desired)- ITIL / Process Understanding (Desired) Travel requirement - None
