Technical Artist (Concept Designer)
Job Description
The Concept Designer need to demonstrate artistic vision and appropriately expand the art direction given.
He should have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design, can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team.
The Concept Designer has to design, develop & execute the concepts.
Specific responsibilities include:
Should have designed various commercial workspace designs like: office wall graphics,wall arts,thread arts,spatial designs & retail window dressing etc.
Must have done corporate promotions like stall designs for events & exhibitions.
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Schedule projects and define budget constraints
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Demonstrate artistic vision and appropriately expand upon the art direction given.
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
Work with designers and creative director to for development & execution of final design
Test graphics across various media
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Functional Skills:
Strong graphical & artistic skills and technical knowledge to execute designs.
Strong knowledge on verity materials used in developing the 2D & 3D Wall Graphics designs.(handcraft items, scrap materials, bricks, wood, cement, concrete, stucco, metal,etc.)

Education and Experience:
Proven creative art & graphic designing experience
A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics based on the previous work done on commercial spaces.
Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as Corel Draw, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus.
Note: Candidate must be from same industry (advertising/ branding/ exhibition/signage)
