Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of baked goods such as breads, rolls, pastries, cakes, and cookies according to recipes and quality standards.
Develop new bakery products and recipes to attract and delight customers.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of all bakery ingredients.
Monitor baking processes and adjust oven temperatures and baking times for optimal results.
Maintain bakery cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, order ingredients, and control bakery costs.
Train and supervise junior bakery staff.
Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to fulfill customer orders.
Maintain high standards of presentation and quality.
Stay updated on baking trends and techniques.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bakery Chef or similar role.
Culinary degree or formal training in baking is preferred.
Strong knowledge of baking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
Creativity and passion for baking.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
