About Process
Builds & tests prototype to demonstrate the feasibility of architectural designs.
Perform or be responsible for the monitoring, administration, performance, security and continuous improvement activities of the DBs.
Support the development of service continuity strategies by designing disaster procedures, recovery and environment policies.
Contribute to the proposition and implementation of new technologies according to the company's needs, aiming to optimize and adapt the database structure within control, quality and audit parameters.
Work with the development of scripts, query optimization, tuning, views, jobs, cluster, triggers, backup and restore.
Database modelling and database version migration.
Log analysis, information, performance, and root cause investigation.
Issue technical and operational reports, listing the measures needed to improve services.
It also includes the operation and continuous monitoring of systems and services, capacity planning and continuous improvements.
Leads the collaboration with development teams to discuss, analyze, or resolve application issues or to assist with engineering projects.
Other duties as may be reasonably requested.

Excellent communication skills required (B29)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2016, including installation, administration, backup / recovery and troubleshooting
Strong knowledge of MariaDB, including installation, administration, backup/recovery and troubleshooting
Education
Graduate with minimum Min. 4+ years of experience in DBA, Microsoft SQL
Experience with SQL server clustering (AlwaysOn), Availability Groups, Replication technology
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies
Experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization
