Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Perform the tests requiring special skills
• Stores Management and stocks maintenance.
• Maintenance of master register and records as per the drug act.
• Maintenance of equipments.
• To perform all technical work relevant to Transfusion Medicine
• To perform different tests using automated systems.
• To perform all serological & immunological tests including ELISA, Rapid & PCR etc.
• Responsible for proper running and management of equipment supply, HIS, material and coordinate with Biomedical Engineering, IT and Materials Department for maintenance of equipment and supply of material
• Involve quality assurance and quality control activities
• Responsible for inventory management of blood
• Day to day quality management of chemical and request used in department
• To supervisor of donor blood collection and make a data of donor
• Blood donor registration
• Perform donor screening & blood collection.
• Perform Aphaeresis procedure
• Component Preparation
• Perform blood grouping, cross matching and issue of blood/components
• Documentation of blood record.
• Managing HIS on Computer
• Blood Bank equipment maintenance and management
• Inventory control and management of BB Consumables
