Job Title: Manager - Compliance Officer
Location: Mumbai
Type: Full-Time
About Us:
Areion Assets Management Private Limited is an investment manager to a SEBI Registered Category II and Category I Alternative Investment Fund. Areion AMC has successfully managed three schemes under category II AIF with an AUM of Approx. 1500 Crore.
Job Summary:
The compliance manager will be responsible to monitor and execute various statutory compliances applicable under AIF Regulations, SEBI laws, RBI guidelines and company law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Should have cleared NISM certificate series 19C for AIF Manager.
- Should have knowledge of SEBI regulations applicable to AIF.
- To monitor and report all the statutory compliances and reporting related to Alternative Investment Fund;
- To execute investor onboarding and Investment compliances;
- Assistance in securing registrations with various statutory authorities for reporting purposes;
- Preparation of legal documents for all stages of fund life cycle;
- Record keeping and record maintenance of investors and investments;
- To assist in Various audits such as Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, PPM Audit, Valuation of the Scheme, Credit Ratings of the companies, Valuation of the Investments, due diligence of the investments and investors;
- Assistance in Various day to day activities of the fund.
Qualifications:
Graduate with professional qualification like Company Secretary, LLB etc.
Experience: 2+ Years in compliance role
Technical Skills:
- Must have sound knowledge in MS. Office tools;
- Legal Drafting skills.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
