Quality Testing - AI @ Qualitest

Job Description

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  
• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and usability testing for web and AI-based applications.
  
• Validate application functionality against business requirements and technical specifications.
  
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira; collaborate with developers for prompt resolution.
  
• Perform API testing, and validate data integrity via database queries.
  

2. Product Documentation

• Create and maintain user manuals, product guides, release notes, FAQs, and training materials.
  
• Translate complex product behavior into easy-to-understand documentation for end-users and internal teams.
  
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  
• Maintain internal documentation to support QA best practices, workflows, and process improvements.
  

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a quality advocate across development, product, and design teams.
  
• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in Agile teams.
  
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and provide assistance during client or stakeholder demos.
  
• Provide insights into improving usability, user experience, and system robustness.
  

4. Process Improvement

• Drive enhancements in QA processes and documentation standards.
  
• Suggest and help implement process improvements for better product stability and faster release cycles.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 6 years of manual QA experience in testing web or AI-integrated platforms.
  
• Generative AI Knowledge: Exposure to Generative AI-based applications or AI product testing.
  
• Documentation Skills: Proven experience in writing and maintaining high-quality product documentation.
  
• Test Design & Execution: Expertise in creating detailed test cases and executing across platforms.
  
• Tools: Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Postman (for API testing), and SQL for database validation.
  
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Strong skills in issue documentation and root cause identification.
