Job Description

Role & responsibilities

IC- Role

Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically
Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases
Build test automation frameworks
Suggest /Make framework enhancements to accommodate the scripting needs
Log and document bugs in the tracking system
Set up Continuous Integration
In addition to writing automated tests, Test Automation Engineers will still do exploratory testing when they need to understand how functionality manifests itself to the customer
Works with less structured, more complex issues
Serves as a resource to others

Qualifications - Internal

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
Undergraduate degree or 7+ years of IT experience
7+ years of Automation experience
Experience with automation testing tools: Playwright(preferred), selenium
Experience with Mobile automation testing tools for Android, iOS, and cross-platform(Good to have)
Experience with API testing tools to create tests: REST Assured, Rest Sharp, JMeter, etc.
Experience with Continuous Integration tools Jenkins, Bit bucket, GitHub, CI/CD
Experience with JIRA Defect tracking and task creation tool
Proven Technical Skills programming skills are required to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as Java, JavaScript, C#(Good to have)
Proven ability to analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes

Performance and load testing JMeter / any tool

Good to have: AI/ML
