Job Description
We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team at Red Taxi, a leading ride-hailing product company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our mobile and web applications through thorough testing and validation processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products that enhance our customers' ride-hailing experience.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design:
- Understand and analyze project requirements for both mobile and web applications.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Test Execution:
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results for mobile and web applications.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Conduct functional, system, integration, and user acceptance testing for both platforms.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the development team to understand and verify requirements for both mobile and web applications.
- Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on test progress.
Skill / Expertise / Work background:
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role, preferably in a mobile and web application environment.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Appium is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
