The goal of the Radio Systems Researcher role is to develop novel, high-caliber, disruptive technologies for wireless communication and sensing, focusing on the physical layer, medium access layer, radio resource management and system design. The focus is on challenging industry problems that cannot be solved through technologies available today but require fundamentally different solutions with the potential to be realized in the longer term. The novel solutions are expected to result in the generation of intellectual property and technology transfer to business groups and standards organizations. The scope covers radio systems innovations in the medium term for 6G Day 1, as well as the long term, for the 6G era and beyond, with a special focus on the application of AI to wireless systems.
You have:
PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
4+ years of experience in wireless technology research
Broad knowledge of wireless industry trends
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to conceive and execute research projects guiding to tangible results

Experience transferring research concepts to product development
Curiosity to learn about and understand complex systems
Conduct cutting-edge research on disruptive technologies for wireless communication, focusing on physical and medium access layers

Perform system-level modeling and simulation of wireless communications across various frequency bands

Lead the development of proof-of-concept projects that transition research into actionable solutions
Engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to adapt research findings for potential productization
Present research outcomes and findings at conferences and in publications to disseminate knowledge and foster collaboration
