Senior Technical Writer @ Browserstack

• 3-7 years of experience in building technical developer documentation in technology companies.
• Sound knowledge of version control tools like Git, software development lifecycle, DevOps tools
• Comfortable with IDEs (VSCode), APIs, and programming language (any) to understand the concepts and convert to user-understandable formats
• Can read and understand code in any one language. Should be able to use tools like Google to translate code into other languages
• Has working experience with Markdown Impeccable writing and editing skills

• Build high-quality technical content in easy-to-understand plain, clear, and simple language in an attempt to continuously improve BrowserStack documentation
• Create templates for other writers to leverage
• Contributes to setting process and building the style guide
• Independently owns the documentation roadmap for assigned BrowserStack products
• Works with Product Managers, the Design team, and Engineering to build documentation for their product
• Develop a solid understanding of the product by trying, testing, and simulating user behavior with the content
• Sets up IDEs and debugs a few lines of code
• Translates code snippets in one programming language to other programming languages
