Job Description

System Administrator - Bangalore

Any degree/diploma with at least three years experience in Server OS administration as per skill set mentioned below.

Pc, Laptop, Printers & Networking skill sets

Handling problems, should be qualified enough to do first level diagnosis and troubleshooting the problems relating to Hardware, Peripherals, Active Network equipment such as Switches, Firewall, Routers, should also be qualified enough to do first level diagnosis and troubleshooting the problems relating to standard software such as OS, Internet Browsers, Microsoft Office, or Microsoft Exchange, Anti-virus, etc., should have formal training and experience of managing and troubleshooting the problems under environments like Windows OS, Server OS, LAN / WAN, Firewall, PCs and associated peripherals, backup / restoration using various tools, etc., should have a minimum of 3 years experience in providing onsite technical support.

Server Skill sets

1.Technical & Professional Competencies

2 Good working experience in Server Operating System environment

3.File systems management (Creation, rights management)

4.Hardware troubleshooting & reconfiguration. (Software RAID, H/w RAID)

5. Strong knowledge on Veritas Clusters, Veritas File System and Veritas Net backup software is a prerequisite.

6.Work experience in Enterprise Backup technology.

7.Fine-tuning experience in Server OS.

8. Should have excellent communication, both written and oral

Note: OEM certificates like MCP/MCSE/CCNA etc., are added advantage
