Job Description

We support our clients' needs in Primary Care, Specialty Care, and Hospital business units, and we have managed portfolios in the Biologics space, Branded Pharmaceuticals, Generics, APIs, Diagnostics, and Packaging & Delivery Systems.
Role & responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end test strategy for features and releases in an Agile environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Select, implement, and optimize testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter) and frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
- Lead a small team of QA engineersmentor, review work, and ensure best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps to identify risks and improve product quality.
- Track and report test coverage, defect metrics, and release readiness to stakeholders.
- Drive adoption of BDD/TDD practices and shift-left testing approaches.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2+ years of hands-on QA experience in a product-based startup environment.
- Proven expertise with at least one major UI automation tool (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress)
- Strong experience in API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, Gatling)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD integration of test suites.
- Solid scripting/programming skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in two-week sprints.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead small teams or take ownership of critical QA deliverables.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with cloud testing environments (AWS, Azure) and container-based testing (Docker)
- Knowledge of security or accessibility testing tools and standards.
- Exposure to mobile test automation (Appium, Espresso, XCUITest)
- ISTQB or other QA certifications.
