Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design appropriate database solutions.
- Optimize database performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and security in the database by implementing necessary access controls and backup strategies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, schemas, and scripts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest PostgreSQL features and technologies to ensure best practices are followed.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a PostgreSQL Database Developer with 3-6 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
- In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL database administration and management.
- Hands-on experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
