Job Description
- A Snapshot of Your Day As a Technical Author/Illustrator, you will be responsible for creating, validating, and managing technical data and illustrations to support the smooth operation of Siemens Energy products and services. Currently, we are undergoing a comprehensive review of our Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPCs) and Operation & Maintenance Manuals (O&MM) for our AGT product line, using Cortona 3D (Rapid Manual / Rapid Author). This is a remarkable digital project focused on our Siemens Energy SGT-A35 and SGT-A65 aeroderivative products How Youll Make An Impact Creation and validation of technical data/illustrations to facilitate the smooth operation of Siemens Energy products and services. Actively participate in a team to achieve work and represent the company in a professional manner. Contribute to the development of 3D Cortona manuals for AGT Products. Provide mentorship and support to other team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise. Support ad-hoc projects and implement improvements in tools, methods, and processes. What You Bring Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering or Equivalent with 4 to 6 years of experience in related technologies. Has experience in the Oil & Gas/ Power Generation industry. Understands gas turbine construction, maintenance and basic operation. Can interpret large volumes of sophisticated technical data. Proficient in technology tools, including CAD, Cortona3D (Rapid Manual / Rapid Author), PLM, SAP. Demonstrates superb communication skills, capable of articulating data requirements and concepts in clear, engaging terms across all levels of the organization. Possesses a keen eye for detail, with an appreciation for data and process improvements. Exhibits an analytical attitude, complemented by an inquisitive, methodical approach to problem-solving About The Team Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
