Job Description
Your day-to-day:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new monitoring standards and improve existing ones.
- Develop, test, and maintain Dynatrace extensions that are used to monitor remote technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, ).
- Play an advisory role to resolver groups to set up and configure monitoring for new systems, using Dynatrace.
- Assist internal teams and customers in troubleshooting encountered issues.
- Proactively suggest improvements and new solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 3 + Years.
- Developer - should be good at Python.
- Must be good at Dynatrace Extensions.
- Understanding of Monitoring software (Zenoss, Dynatrace, Zabbix,), protocols and principles.
- Practical experience with Dynatrace is a plus.
- Understanding RESTful API principles and, have the ability to interact with RESTful APIs using Python.
- Understanding of common infrastructure components and their purposes in order to identify the right metrics to monitor.
- Ability to take non-functional requirements into account like security, performance, scalability.
- Pro-active problem-solving attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and with cross-functional teams & departments.
