Job Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Architecture Site Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry, working on architectural projects. The role involves overseeing the implementation of architectural designs on-site, ensuring compliance with the design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Monitor daily site activities, ensuring that architectural work is being carried out according to the approved plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordination: Liaise between architects, contractors, and the project management team to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during construction.
- Quality Control: Ensure that construction work complies with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily reports, material usage, labor logs, and project progress.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address technical issues or construction challenges on-site, providing timely solutions to keep the project on track.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed on-site.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Oversee subcontractors and ensure that their work aligns with the projects specifications and schedule.
- Material Procurement: Assist in managing the procurement of construction materials and ensure their timely delivery to the site.
- Project Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones and progress, report delays, and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders regarding project developments and site issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: A degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role, specifically working on architectural projects.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and architectural designs.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certifications: Construction Safety Certifications (e.g., OSHA or equivalent) are a plus.
- Previous work in one of the Gulf countries and speaking Arabic is an added advantage.
- Languages: Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with a diverse team on large-scale projects.
- Knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Experience in sustainable or green building practices.
