Job Description
- Design and develop high-level infrastructure architectures for complex IT systems, including cloud, data centers, networks, and storage.
- Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies to meet business needs, scalability, and reliability requirements.
- Define infrastructure standards and best practices across systems, networks, and security layers.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure infrastructure supports application performance, security, and availability.
- Lead infrastructure modernization and cloud migration projects (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Create detailed architectural diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
- Conduct system performance analysis and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to infrastructure and support teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage systems, and server technologies.
- Proficient in implementing, configuring, and managing leading monitoring tools to ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime.
- Comprehensive knowledge of DDQ (Due Diligence Questionnaire) processes to ensure compliance, risk assessment, and data integrity for organizational standards.
- Extensive experience in managing data center operations, including server provisioning, network configurations, and system maintenance.
- Expertise in designing and implementing backup solutions and DR strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
- Successfully led a team of over 50 IT professionals, streamlining workflows, improving productivity, and achieving departmental KPIs.
