SCCM Administrator @ Softenger

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SCCM Administrator with strong expertise in software distribution and patch management. The candidate will be responsible for managing software deployments, maintaining compliance with patching requirements, and ensuring timely software updates across the organization's desktop and laptop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an updated inventory of all standard software used within the customer environment.
  
• Use Sapphire/SCCM tools for software distribution and patch management.
  
• Configure and distribute customer-approved software to desktops and laptops.
  
• Push software updates to desktops/servers or configure scheduled pull methods.
  
• Track and deploy the latest security patches as per compliance standards.
  
• Perform patch management for all desktops and laptops using SCCM.
  
• Monitor software distribution status and take corrective actions in case of failure.
  
• Conduct manual pushes when automated distribution fails.
  
• Ensure high availability and reliability of the software distribution process.

Desired Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SCCM / Sapphire for software deployment.
  
• Strong understanding of patch management practices.
  
• Knowledge of desktop and laptop environment configuration.
  
• Familiarity with scheduling and automation of patch deployments.
  
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to software deployment.
  
• Ability to generate distribution reports and track compliance.
