Job Description
Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Madurai
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee construction activities and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will coordinate with project stakeholders, supervise site activities, and ensure compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day site operations and provide technical input for methodologies of construction.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other project team members.
- Manage site documentation including work permits, quality records, and safety reports.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at the site.
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Assist in material planning and ensure that necessary resources are available at the site.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering /
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role (entry-level roles can be adjusted accordingly).
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
