Job Title: Senior Data Engineer ( Power BI, ADF & MS Fabric)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards & reports with advanced DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals.
- Build and optimize end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse) .
- Develop and automate ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Fabric Data Pipelines .
- Architect and manage modern data warehousing solutions (Star/Snowflake Schema) using Fabric Warehouse, Azure Synapse, or SQL Server .
- Implement data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization for large-scale datasets.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable Fabric-based analytics solutions .
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across BI platforms.
- Mentor junior team members on Fabric, Power BI, and cloud data best practices .
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI, SQL, Data Warehousing, and ETL/ELT .
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, ETL workflows, Delta Lake).
- Proficient in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration and data integration.
- Advanced SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, partitioning).
- Experience with data warehousing (dimensional modeling, SCD, fact/dimension tables).
- Knowledge of Power BI Premium/Fabric capacity, deployment pipelines, and DAX patterns .
- Familiarity with Databricks, PySpark, or Python (for advanced analytics) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certifications ( PL-300: Power BI, DP-600: Fabric Analytics Engineer ).
- Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD for Fabric/Power BI deployments) .
- Domain knowledge in BFSI, Retail, or Manufacturing .
