The Role: Senior Software Engineer
About the Role
As a Software Engineer you will be joining our Video Entertainment team and will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our Solutions and products. Youll work as part of a dynamic and cross-functional team to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality Deliverables. You will work on the latest technologies in the streaming industry and Your expertise will contribute to the innovation and enhancement of our solutions, ensuring our global customers have the best possible experience.
Your mission at Irdeto:
- Design, build, and maintain the core infrastructure that powers our products.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the platforms stability, performance, and security.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Implement and automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues.
How you can add value to the team?
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Strong scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Shell).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance.
- Managing project builds, dependencies and artifactories.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
