Job Description

UNIDEL is hiring!!

Location: Mumbai

Designation: Paper Conservator

Work Days: 5

Role & responsibilities:

Assess the overall condition of the stamp album, including pages, bindings, mounts, adhesives, and the stamps themselves.
Develop and document a detailed conservation treatment plan, including ethical considerations for preserving both the paper and stamp materials.
Stabilize and repair damaged or fragile paper pages, including deacidification, tear mending, flattening, and stain reduction.
Restore the stamps to its albums
Use minimally invasive methods to clean surface dirt or residues on both the album and stamps.
