Job Description
IBM DataPower Management: Administer and manage IBM DataPower appliances, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.Development & Integration: Design, implement, and maintain DataPower solutions for secure application integration, including XML, SOAP, RESTful services, and more.Security Configuration: Implement security measures for web services (SSL/TLS, WS-Security, etc.), ensuring the protection of sensitive data.Incident & Problem Management: Troubleshoot, resolve issues, and ensure high availability of DataPower systems by analyzing logs, performance metrics, and resolving faults promptly.Automation & Scripting: Automate routine tasks, system monitoring, and reporting using scripts and tools.Collaboration & Team Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (such as application development, infrastructure, security, etc.) to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Lead a team of developers/administrators, providing technical guidance and support.Upgrades & Patching: Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and hotfixes for the DataPower environment to maintain system integrity and security.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for DataPower configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Provide regular reports on system health and performance.Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational best practices.Expertise in IBM APIC, IBM Datapower. Design and develop API and SOA solutions using DataPower, APIC Expertise in managing organizations, products and writing yamls in APIC. Capable of creating WSP, MPG in DP and excellent knowledge in XSLT programming. Capable of identifying, troubleshooting and fixing production issues Provide guidance on Datapower functionality related to design Experience in working Agile environments and be a shared resource across multiple teams. Skilled problem solvers with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions. Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments. Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies. Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents. Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff.
Bachelor / master s in engineering, MCA or equivalentExperience: 6-8 years24/7 Support shift rotation
