Application Packaging Engineer @ Coforge

Job Description

Require a Packaging resource with 5+ years of packaging experience.
Key Responsibilities: -
1) Application re-packaging using PSADT.
2) Analyse, review and assess application packaging requirements. Package testing, quality assurance. Application UAT and Production deployment.
3) Ability to create, test and deploy the application or configuration packages through SCCM and troubleshoot the issue in case of deployment failure.
4) Mass deployment of applications thorough Change Management process
5) SOP creation for day to day activities and train team members in packaging technology

Technical Experience:-
1) Good knowledge of Windows 10,11.
2) Knowledge of SCCM required for application deployments and troubleshooting
3) Basic understanding of AD Group Policy
4) Good Packaging experience using PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT) in repackaging legacy setups and customizing 3rd party Vendor MSI.
5) Must be good in scripting: PowerShell scripting, batch scripting, VB scripting.
6) Basics of App deployment/Scripting for Mac.

2. Flexible to work in 24/7 shift - good listening skills and the ability to follow directions and provide feedback -React quickly to changing business conditions.
