Overview

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team at NCG . In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the high standards of our software products by developing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will be responsible for validating the functional and non-functional aspects of both web and mobile applications , ensuring a seamless and defect-free user experience.

Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed test plans, test cases , and test scripts based on business and functional requirements
Conduct comprehensive manual testing for both web and mobile applications
Execute functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing
Log and manage bugs using JIRA or similar tools; track and ensure resolution of issues
Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback
Maintain detailed test documentation for compliance and future reference
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Provide clear and actionable feedback on product usability and performance
Continuously improve testing processes and advocate for quality best practices

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3 to 6 years of experience in software testing and QA
Solid understanding of test planning, design, execution , and regression testing
Experience working with JIRA or other defect tracking tools
Familiarity with web and mobile application testing
Understanding of SDLC, STLC , and various testing methodologies

Key Skills

Manual testing for web and mobile platforms
Test planning and documentation

Defect lifecycle management using JIRA
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment
