Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct and lead applied research and experiments to refine and enhance existing display technologies.
• Support the engineering team in transitioning prototype displays into scalable, manufacturable products.
• Optimize key performance parameters like brightness, contrast, and power efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve display performance issues during the development and pre-production phases.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to achieve product performance goals.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and implement new techniques for performance improvement.
• Document findings and contribute to design iterations, providing insights into manufacturability and quality control.

Preferred candidate profile

• PhD or Masters degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience with display technologies (OLED, MicroLED, Quantum Dot, projection, etc).
• Experience in major display OEM a significant plus
• Strong analytical skills with a background in materials characterization techniques.
• Experience working in a product development or industrial R&D environment.
