Job Description
Job Title: SAP FICO Support and Open Text Team Lead Location: Mohali, Chandigarh, India About us: We are a leading global agribusiness and food company operating in over 40 countries with approximately 35,000 employees. We have implemented a Shared Services Center in Mohali, India to support Global Operations in areas of Finance & Accounting, Trade Operations, Treasury and IT Support and other back office support Services. Scope of this position: Looking for a Lead SAP Applications expert skilled in the functionality and configuration of SAP FICO and Open Text to lead the development and support of integrating supply chain business processes and inventory management. Primary Responsibilities:- Manage of 8 - 10 member team and provide vision and strategic direction for SAP solutions supporting FICO and Open text processes across product lines and business models
- Assist in the evaluation, definition and approval of SAP modifications and enhancements in FICO, Open text and related areas
- Design and document functional test plans and scenarios (Unit Testing, IST, and UAT) and work through the testing and validation process with the key users to ensure the functional specifications are implemented in ways that meets the business requirements
- Responsible to close out defects on solutions designed including testing and coordination of the testing till defects are closed
- Support the training of the SME and coordinate with SME in delivering and supporting SAP solutions
- Support in testing and implementation of new SAP releases
- Maintain SAP FICO configuration and configuration change documentation
- Provide second level support to installed systems and users in the above areas
- Coordinate end-user training including creation of training material, conducting training sessions.
- Assist with SAP Rollout thru APAC region
Required Candidate profile
Required:- 10 years or more of R/3 experience with a minimum of 2-3 full-life cycle implementation experience as an SAP FICO expert with configuration experience for large organizations
- At least 5 years of leadership responsibilities with a lead role in a support engagement.
- Working knowledge of core FICO concepts like General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Cost Centre & Cost Element Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis and Profit Centre Accounting
- Strong knowledge in the design, configuration and testing of core FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR)
- Design, configuration and testing of CO-PA is preferred
- Experience with report writer and report painter
- Experience with product costing is desirable
- Experience with FSCM Credit Management and Treasury is preferred
- Solid grasp of FICO integrations with other modules (i.e. SD, MM, PP, etc.).
- At least 5 years of experience with ECC 6.0
- Must be able to scope, review, and create functional specifications and assist the development team in writing the technical specifications for FICO "FRICE" (i.e. Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement)
- Experience with data migration of FICO objects
- ABAP Debugging experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in general and strong facilitation and presentation experience skills specifically
- Effective in providing direction, guidance, motivation and coaching to a group of individuals with a purpose of achieving specific goals
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable in defending SAP solutions with peers forming an SAP governance council
- Very detail-oriented person with superior problem-solving ability
- Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business
- Experience in rolling out global SAP template thru India and APAC
- Must be willing to travel throughout APAC (frequency is medium)
