Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled financial specialist to join our accounts receivable team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The accounts receivable specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send accurate invoices to customers according to contract terms and billing schedules.
Ensure that all invoices are issued in a timely manner.
Monitor outstanding accounts receivable and Co-ordinate with internal account manager BDM s for payment follow-up.
Circulate revenue details to key stake holders and sales team as and when required.
Record all payments and deposits, ensuring timely collection and accurate posting.
Monitor and reconciliation of customers purchase orders, credit limits and payment terms.
Preparation of proposals/offers to customer.
Revenue recognition and analysis.
Reconcile customer accounts periodically and resolve discrepancies.
Assess the risk of delayed payments and escalate issues as necessary.
Prepare AR aging reports and provide regular updates to the management team.
Assist in month-end closing by providing necessary data and reports.
Ensure all AR activities comply with company policies and accounting standards.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions for audit purposes.
Knowledge of all statutory compliances, especially GST, TCS and TDS
Filling the monthly, quarterly and annual returns for SEZ/STPI
Preparation of Sales reports and dashboard.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor s degree in accounting must, master s degree, MBA, or equivalent is plus.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, Workday or ERP
- environment).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and errors in invoices and financial documents.
Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and internal teams
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve payment issues.
