Amazons Supply Chain Services Team, within the Santos organization, extends Amazons world-class supply chain capabilities to merchants for their off-Amazon business. Our vision is to enable entrepreneurs worldwide to reach customers through all possible channels using Amazons supply chain network and services. By building on Amazons established foundation, we help merchants of all sizes grow their business beyond Amazon. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Sr Technical Program Manager to join our Amazon Supply Chain services team. This is an opportunity to work in a customer-facing startup like environment within Amazon. We seek a someone who is motivated by a fast-paced and highly entrepreneurial environment looking to make instant impact. We are looking for a Technical Program Manger (TPM) who is capable of breaking down and solving complex problems, and have a strong will to get things done! TPM at Amazon work on real world problems on a global scale. They own their systems end to end and influence the direction of our technology which impacts multiple enterprises. The TPM has to work across multiple organizations and act as a pragmatic problem solver. You thrive in an agile environment and drive the business delivery. You will be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well and staying connected to the detailsYou will be responsible for delivering results despite working in an ambiguous environment
You will need a strong bias for action and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
You will define strategy and build and execute road maps for the programs you own.
You will be responsible for overall coordination, quality and productivity and will be the primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs that you run.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
