Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Solution Design and Development:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages).
- Utilize AI Builder to integrate AI capabilities into Power Platform solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Create custom connectors and integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems and data sources.
- Administration and Governance:
- Manage and administer Power Platform environments, including security, compliance, and data governance.
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Power Platform applications.
- Implement best practices for application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps in Power Platform.
- Ensure adherence to standing SLAs for platform performance and availability.
- Deployment and Migration:
- Oversee the deployment, import, and export of solutions and data within Power Platform.
- Lead migration and lift-and-shift projects to transition existing solutions to Power Platform.
- Ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes, following best practices.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to end-users and other team members on Power Platform tools and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation for solutions, processes, and best practices.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest features and updates in Power Platform and related technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using Power Platform.
- Lead and participate in proof-of-concept (POC) projects to explore new capabilities and technologies.
Preferred candidate profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 8 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, and AI Builder.
- Experience with data modeling, database design, and SQL.
- Knowledge of Azure services and integration with Power Platform.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400) are a plus.
Skills:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps) and Power Automate.
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Knowledge of Power Virtual Agents for creating chatbots.
- Familiarity with Power Pages for building web portals.
- Experience with AI Builder for integrating AI capabilities.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, C#, and PowerShell.
- Expertise in deployment, import, and export of solutions and data within Power Platform.
- Understanding of best practices for application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps.
- Knowledge of standard license limitations, including the number of actions that can be executed.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design effective solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management:
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
