Job Description
Job Title: Sr. SAP SD/MM - Functional Analyst Location: Mohali, Chandigarh, India About us: We are a leading global agribusiness and food company operating in over 40 countries with approximately 35,000 employees. We have implemented a Shared Services Center in Mohali, India to support Global Operations in areas of Finance & Accounting, Trade Operations, Treasury and IT Support and other back office support Services. Scope of this position: The role requires a senior SAP application expert skilled in the functionality and configuration of SAP Sales & Distribution and Materials Management (SAP SD/MM) to provide regional support of GTM related business processes. SAP Global Trade Management (GTM) experience is a plus but is not required. Responsibilities & Job Duties:- Provide functional expertise for SAP solutions supporting SD/MM processes across product lines.
- Responsible as an SD/MM module team member within the Global GTM SAP team to support currently implemented SAP solutions.
- Provide techno-functional support to implemented systems and users in the above areas either locally or remotely in a regional support role.
- Assist in the evaluation, definition, design and approval of SAP modifications and enhancements in GTM and related areas.
- Support in documentation, testing, implementation, and training of new SAP enhancements, upgrades/releases, etc. for the areas above.
- Provide end-user training including creation/maintenance of training material and conducting training sessions.
- Responsible to close out defects including analysis, design and documentation of the functional design specifications, test plans and scenarios, and coordination of the resolution until defects are closed.
- Assist with SAP Rollout thru APAC region (as/when needed).
- Assist in the implementation of related Business Applications from SAP subject matter expert perspective.
- Provide support for SAP integration to other business applications, web/mobility solutions etc.
Required Candidate profile
Skills & experience required:- 6 years or more of SAP ECC experience in SAP Design and Implementation on SD/MM modules.
- 2-3 Full life-cycle implementation experience with at least one full life-cycle global SAP implementation experience.
- Strong knowledge of Sales & Distribution including Order to Cash processes, Contracts, Pricing, Logistics Execution, Master Data, and transportation module and/or
- Strong knowledge of Materials Management including Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Purchasing and procure-to-pay function.
- Solid grasp of SD/MM integrations with other modules.
- Knowledge in basic ABAP and LSMW.
- ABAP Debugging experience required.
- Must be able to scope and create BPPs (Business Process Procedures) and PDDs (Process Definition Document). These are the necessary documents delivered in Configuration.
- Must be able to scope, review, and create functional specifications and assist the development team in writing the technical specifications for SD/MM "RICEF" (i.e. Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancement and Forms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in general and strong facilitation and presentation experience skills specifically.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable in defending SAP solutions with peers forming an SAP governance council.
- Strong interest to develop business process knowledge to better support the users
- Very detail-oriented person with superior problem-solving ability.
- Prefer someone who has performed in a senior role and in more than one implementation. Seeking a "go-to" person that has the experience to solve tough problems.
- Ability to express complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to the business.
- Ability to learn our business, work across business units, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge in Agribusiness industry and SAP GTM - Nice to have.
- Experienced and comfortable working with ambiguity.
