Job Description
- Manual Sketching:
- Create detailed hand-drawn jewellery designs based on themes, trends, or client requirements.
- Ensure precision in design elements such as symmetry, dimensions, stone placement, and styling.
- Design Concept Development:
- Develop innovative jewellery concepts (rings, earrings, necklaces, bangles, bridal sets, etc.).
- Present design ideas for new collections in line with seasonal trends or buyer preferences.
- Client Customization:
- Understand customer requirements and create tailor-made designs accordingly.
- Modify existing designs based on feedback from clients or production teams.
- Trend and Market Research:
- Keep track of global and domestic jewellery design trends.
- Study competitor products and client buying patterns to inspire new creations.
- Timely Submission:
- Meet daily and weekly design deadlines.
- Prioritize work based on project urgency and importance.
- Degree/Diploma in Jewellery Design or Fine Arts from a recognized institute.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in manual jewellery designing.
- Strong sketching and visualization skills.
- Proficiency in CorelDraw/Coral software (Not mandatory).
- Passion for jewellery and fashion design.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under deadlines.
- Portfolio of original manual designs is highly desirable.
- Coral/CorelDraw Usage: (Not compulsory)
- Digitize manual sketches using CorelDraw or Coral software.
- Prepare high-quality visual presentations for client approval and internal records.
Job Description:
Position: Jewellery Manual Designer
Location: Hill Rd, Santosh Nagar, above Vodafone Store Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400050
Department: Back Office
Salary: 18,000 - 25,000 per month
Office Timing: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday to Saturday
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and organized Jewellery manual designer to join our team at Zewar By Valchandson Jewellers. The ideal candidate should have a good command of Sketching, understand basic of Jewellery manual Designing, and be able to follow instructions effectively.
