Job Title: Solaris Administrator
Experience Level: 4-6 years
Notice Period: Immediate to 60 days
Location: Mumbai, Bangalore
Budget: 10 LPA

Job Description:

• Manage and maintain Solaris UNIX environments (Solaris versions 5.0, 6.0, 7.0, 7.5).

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and administer Solaris server hardware and software.

• Monitor server performance, utilization, and availability to ensure optimal operation.

• Prepare detailed documentation at the program and user levels as required.

• Troubleshoot and resolve Solaris system issues efficiently.

• Maintain and repair IBM Power systems, including hardware and OS software support.

• Act as the main point of contact for customer coordination on hardware/software support and technical service delivery.

• Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.

• Review backup reports, take corrective actions on backup failures, and maintain documentation.

• Implement security-related tasks and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.

• Generate service performance and usage reports and respond to issue requests promptly.
