Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with strong AWS Cloud experience to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-native applications using Java and AWS services. The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background combined with hands-on cloud experience, with the ability to work in Agile teams and deliver high-quality, production-ready code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop microservices and APIs using Java (Spring Boot/Spring Cloud).

• Build, deploy, and manage applications on AWS using services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, and ECS/EKS.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

• Develop automated unit, integration, and performance tests.

• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of cloud applications.

• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product Management, and other developers to deliver enterprise-level applications.

• Monitor and troubleshoot application issues in cloud environments using CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party observability tools.

• Write infrastructure-as-code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 4+ years of professional experience in Java development.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

• Proficiency in Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, RESTful API development.

• Experience with microservice architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB).

• Strong understanding of CI/CD, Git, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus/Grafana
