Development Engineer @ Andor Tech

Job Description

• This role is for staff augmentation support and resources will be assisting non-core activities MID (5-9 YRS OF EXPERIENCE)
• Support to Develop and test code to deliver functionality that meets the overall business strategy and objectives
• Support to Build the work needed to implement features from the product backlog
• Support Size user stories Support Unit test code, create automated test scripts, and execute all other testing-related tasks
• Test deliverables against a user storys acceptance tests
• Support to Execute necessary project documentation
• Work closely with other team to ensure that features meet business needs
• Follow industry-standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation Work with infrastructure, security, and other partners 3-5 years in an engineering role 1-3 years participating in agile development Scrum certification, a plus
• Experience with test-driven development and software test automation
• Deep experience working in an agile environment (eg user stories, iterative development, etc)

• Proficiency in our technology stack, which encompasses Java/Kotlin, Springboot/Micronaut, Gradle, PostgreSQL, Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis Cache.
• Expertise working in Ubuntu, CentOs servers and Chef automation
• Proficient in Test Driven build patterns with knowledge on Unit, Integration and functional testcases and deploying applications on cloud
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs and backend jobs
• Proficiency in developing file IO and Bulk data processing applications
• Expertise in working with databases like Postgres, mongo, querying, performance optimization
• Proficiency in agile practices, with strong interpersonal skills to collaborating with other teams
• Additional Qualifications for Added Value:big data handlingBatch Files processing in java/kotlinperformance testing and optimization.secure coding practicesFamiliarity with PCI security standards
