Job Title: Advent Platform Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Advent Platform Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in .NET and SQL development, specifically focused on Advent implementation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of trade life cycle management, API integrations, and wealth/trading systems, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support end-to-end Advent system implementations.
• Develop and maintain applications using .NET and SQL aligned with Advent workflows.
• Manage trade life cycle processes and ensure seamless system integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for API development and integration.
• Analyze, document, and implement business and technical requirements.

Technical Skills:

• Strong development experience in .NET and SQL.
• Deep knowledge of Advent platform and trading system architectures.
• Familiarity with trading protocols such as FIX, EMSX, TSOX.
• Exposure to systems like SAXO, Bloomberg, SWIFT, Reuters.
• Experience in business analysis and system implementation in trading environments.

Functional Skills:

• Solid background in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech.
• Proven ability to follow coding standards, unit testing, and documentation practices.
• Agile development methodology experience.
• Focus on high-quality deliverables and system stability.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and executives.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to influence technical decisions and mentor junior team members.
