Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
A. Budgeting & Cost Planning
- Prepare concept budgets, DPR budgets, and detailed cost plans based on design stages.
- Revise budgets periodically based on design developments, market escalation, and execution changes.
- Perform variance analysis against original budgets and highlight deviations to management.
- Assist in project viability analysis and capital investment planning.
B. Cost Monitoring & Controls
- Track and control project costs throughout the lifecycle Pre, During & Post Construction.
- Prepare and update Cost-to-Complete (CTC) reports with input from site and procurement teams.
- Analyze cost trends and consumption reports to recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure only approved and budgeted costs are booked and reconciled periodically.
C. Value Engineering & Process Optimization
- Work with design and execution teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate options for reducing RCC quantities, plot filling material, and oversized utility lines.
- Suggest practical solutions to avoid over-engineering and cost escalation.
